[music] hi everyone! in today's video i'm going to show you how to make these fun decorative letters to add a playful touch to kids rooms. for the crayons letter you'll need: the first letter of the child's name in wood or cardboard, very strong glue, fun crayons and a stanley knife. measure how long your pieces of crayons need to be
and cut them to the correct size. either glue them into place right away or first line them up to see how it looks before glueing them. i'm using crayons from paw patrol and cars, so i'm alternating the wrapper colors. don't forget to add one or more little hooks if you want to hang it on the wall. i'm using these handy hooks that already have an adhesive patch.
for the road & trucks letter you'll need: the first letter of the child's name in wood or cardboard, gesso and a paint roller and tray in case the letter is cardboard, grey enamel paint, a paint brush, a measuring triangle, a pencil, very strong glue, glow in the dark paint and toy trucks or cars. since the letter i'm using is made out of cardboard i'm going to add a few layers of gesso to make it more sturdy and to ensure the letter will not suck up
the paint. measure and draw the road lines. these should be painted white, but since my gesso is already white, i can skip that step. paint over the white areas with a few layers of glow in the dark paint. paint the rest of the road with a few layers of grey enamel paint. now it's time to glue your trucks or cars onto the letter.
don't forget to add a hook in case you're going to hang it on the wall. i hope you enjoyed this tutorial. if you did, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe for more. thank you for watching! byeee!
